1983

Spinning origins

The Group’s manufacturing journey began in cotton spinning.

1997

Adisankara established

Adisankara Spinning Mills began operations at Vedasandur, later integrating circular knitting capability.

2002

Akshera Papers founded

Akshera Papers began recycled kraft paper manufacturing at Sathyamangalam.

2004

Akshara Spinning Unit I

The Sathyamangalam spinning unit strengthened the Group’s cotton-yarn platform.

2014

Akshera Papers Unit II

A second Sathyamangalam paper unit expanded the Group’s kraft-paper range and production base.

2015

Rudra Garments Unit I

Garment manufacturing commenced at Vedasandur with a focus on quality-led apparel.

2018

Rudra Garments Unit II

The apparel network expanded to Sathyamangalam, adding scale and programme flexibility.

2021

Akshara Spinning Unit II

The Dharapuram unit extended the Group’s spinning capacity and geographic reach.

2024

Third paper unit

Aruldevi Paper Mills in Kancheepuram joined the network, strengthening access to the Chennai market.
